Painting a chair for Leon...

I'm going to be painting a chair for the new Leon in Old Compton Street (opening February 2011)... along with some other artists... Then we will have our photos taken with our chairs in January, which will go on the wall in the restaurant, near the chair... Can't wait! I'll keep the blog updated of my progress... chair arrives on Monday.

Tis the season

Christmas at Leon.. I've designed some flyers/menus to promote having your Christmas Party at Leon.

New exhibition

Sunday saw the opening of our second exhibition (with the On The Wall Collective), creating pictures on the theme of Love, Peace, Happiness. I made 4 pictures:

Two new restaurants - two new logos

I created these two logos for two new ventures from Club Gascon. Cigalon is a french restaurant, opened in October 2010 in Chancery Lane and Baranis is under Cigalon... a 50's French Riviera bar/ restaurant with it's own Petanque pitch!

Pants on show

Our exhibition opened yesterday at the Emporium in Muswell Hill and hundreds of people came through the door to see the 25 pictures with the 'pants' inspired theme. Here are my 3 entries (a 3D textile piece, a painted alphabet and a limited edition print). New Show!

I've teamed up with 3 fellow artists / designers to form 'On the Wall". We are going to exhibit themed, original and affordable art every two months, starting with our début exhibition around the theme of... pants. See our blog for more details:http://onthewallcollective.blogspot.com/

Yesterday was the inaugural Leon Pie Fest in the London Fields, Hackney... 22 pies, 4 trestle tables, a two man band, a film crew, wine, Leon lemonade, sunshine... a perfect day.

Two things found in the kitchen where we were staying on holiday. The Horse radish powder claimed it could be kept for many years... looks at least 30 years old..
